Welcome to StandUpLondon.  You might be a new comedian, a seasoned open mic veteran, or even just someone looking for places to go and see some stand-up comedy.  Whatever brought you here, we're very glad you could stop by.

As the numbers of registered members on the site grows (and it has been growing steadily for a few months now), it's starting to make sense to make this site a bit more interactive and social.  Indeed, the whole site is built in such a way that any registered member can comment on just about anything on the site.  But so far, there has been a lot of shyness on that front.  So to encourage you out of your shell, feel free to use the comments are below to introduce yourself to the other people who use this site, and kick off a bit of dialogue.

Over the next couple of months, we will be building up this section of the site, and will start to add features such as guidelines for folks just starting out, a look at the merits of doing a course versus just giving it a go, and featured content from some of the more writing-prone members of the circuit.  In the meantime, say hello using the comments space below, and if there is anything you'd like to see on the site, let us know and we'll see if it can be done.  Don't be shy.

And hopefully, coaxing you into using the comments field on this page will also encourage you to use comments throughout the site.  It's what will make the site more useful to everyone, so don't be shy.

And if that's not enough, there's now a complete discussion forum on the site, so you can post and comment and discuss and argue and brainstorm with everyone else on here, if that takes your fancy.

Only registered members can post comments. If you would like to comment or respond to a comment, please register. Registration is free, open to anyone, and gives you full access to all the resources on the site. Even if you don't register, you can still subscribe to particular pages so that you get notified of any new comments.
