The Gig Market is brand new and we probably wont see much in the way of gigs being entered into the system for a little while yet. It's a little bit chicken and egg in that respect. The first bit is to build up the database of registered acts. Once there are enough acts registered in the system then the benefits to bookers are obvious. They can dispense with tracking hundreds and hundreds of emails and manage the entire booking process online. And they can reach a wider community of acts. So all we ask is that you register and then be a little bit patient over the next few weeks while it builds momentum. And you can help by encouraging bookers you run into to take a look.
Plus we have loads of great features being put in over the next few months... things like SMS alerts for urgent gig requirements and Act Diary Management so you can put all sorts of things in your diary, Gig Market or otherwise, and bookers will be able to see your availability.
