The London Open Mic Comedy Directory
The Big Green Bookshop Open Mic Comedy
Report Listing
The Big Green Bookshop is in Wood Green (North London), and are looking for performers for their first open mic comedy night on Friday 11 March at 8pm. It's unpaid, as we have no budget, but will be offering decently sized slots (10-15 mins through to 20-30 mins) depending on experience etc. If we have enough performers interested, there will also be some improv. It's a unique, intimate setting and there will be a friendly crowd. There isn't much in the way of comedy in the area, so we're hoping to try and build something for the local area. Entrance to the event will be £3 (to cover refreshments, although do feel free to bring your own as well) and there will be the opportunity to add contributions at the end of the night, which will be split amongst the performers - the more you enjoyed the night, the more we ask that you add. If you're interested, contact The Big Green Bookshop by email, using the heading 'Stand Up Comedy Night', and explain your experience level. Non-experienced comedians will still be considered.
