The Friday Night Showcase!

Every Friday night will have pre-booked lots of the funniest comedians around, for a night of entertainment, fun and laughter. The Friday Night Showcase started in 2011 and has since then, attracted a fan base which has grown in numbers and popularity throughout the year.

The Friday Night Showcase has prebooked comedians, and you can even turn up on the night and slot yourself in for an open mic spot if theres any left of course! (very rare as of recently! :)

The Friday Night Showcase has moved from The Queens Head to The Sebright Arms in Bethnal Green. A big thank you to everyone at the Queens Head for the venue, continuing support and making the show what it is today!

Acts please note: Please try and arrive at 7.30 so we can get the running order done and theres no delays in the show!
We do encourage acts to get some audience down, there is promotion for the show but there are a lot of seats to fill!
Dont be afraid if you cant bring anyone, its a night of great comedy and thats what you will be there for!

Gig Categorisation

Friday	Gigs in this category are run on a Friday
Mixed	Some acts are pre-booked, but sign-up spots may be available
Standard open mic	A series of stand-up comedians each performing a set, usually five minutes
Variety show	Singers, musicians, poets, and magicians as well as comedians
