Tried-and-tested material or experimenting with something new, The Painted Grin will offer the opportunity to come and see 6 excellent comics flaunt their hilarious wares in a relaxed, friendly, low-key environment before they inevitably hit the big time. We cater for a wide variety of tastes, so whether you prefer slick gag merchants, alt weirdos, musical mirth maestros or hilarious yarnspinners, there'll be something on our bill you're sure to love. And best of all, it's free.

Acts are asked to include a video link and a brief overview of their level of experience, notable gigs etc. This will help us to put together the best possible line-ups of complementing acts, and keep track of our bookings on this busy circuit of ours.
Please note: at the moment we are only offering 10-15 minute slots, so please do not apply for a slot unless you are confident you have a strong set of that length.
